About K.N.Lab.

Keisuke Nakamura

Indie ResearcherIT EngineerMedia Creator

Born in Sapporo, Hokkaido, based in Inzai, Chiba. A software engineer and researcher at heart — but above all, a creator. Engineering is my means of creative expression: combining technical experience with a researcher's methodology, I am driven by the desire to make people smile and say "wow!" through everything I make.

My vision is to master AI as a tool and help build a future where people can live richly. A personal AI agent — one that exists for you alone, learns who you are, and works entirely in your interest — that dream is what led me to research at age 20, and I am still chasing it. Designing a future where humans and intelligent machines coexist in harmony: that is what K.N.Lab. is all about.

MAiD / MAHORO (Personal AI Agent)

2000–present

The culmination of personal agent research pursued since age 20. A long-standing effort to design and develop agent systems that support human intellectual activities, now realized as 'MAiD', a Neuro-Symbolic AI platform. Natural language processing is handled by AIML 2.0 via a self-implemented AIML engine (Python-based), while the reasoning core is powered by RAG and Web Ontology inference. Developing the Japanese dialogue agent 'MAHORO'. MAiD = Multi Agentic identity-Daemon; MAHORO = Memory-Aware Hybrid-Ontology Reflective Oracle.
